Make Sauce:
- Pan fry 1 lb ground beef with 5 cloves garlic and one diced onion. stir in cut bell peppers.
- Add salt, grounded black pepper, sugar and Italian seasonings.
- Add in tomato sauce, tomato paste, and crushed tomatoes.
- simmer for at least half an hour minutes
Prepare Lasagna Pasta:
Soak in hot boiling water for 15-30 min then drain them. Do the math for your lasagna bake pan.
Assemble:
layer of base sauce on bottom, pasta, 15 oz whole-milk ricotta cheese, 8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, base sauce, pasta, 4oz freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese.
Bake:
preheat oven to 375 degree, foil cover lasagna and bake for 30 min, remove foil and bake for another 10min.
